Kites, Planes, and Balloons: Forces of Flight and the NASA AREN Project
Learn how the AREN Project uses kites to carry data collecting instruments on a NASA – Patented technology called AEROPODS. Four forces affect flight: weight, thrust, drag and lift. Participate in hands-on activities such as: “the neutral buoyancy challenge”, paper airplane flight, mini-kite and frustrationless-flyer kite construction and flight. Presented by the NASA AREN Project.
